Rom Paper is embarking on a transformative journey to revolutionize paper tissue manufacturing. This strategic move not only boosts production capacity but also aligns with Rom Paper's commitment to environmental stewardship.


The project'scoreobjective is to minimize paperwaste and decrease environmental footprint. By replacing existing production lines with state-of-the-art machinery, Rom Paper aims to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual intervention. The new production lines boast innovative features such as automatic interfolding, conveyor systems, and advanced vacuum technology, setting new standards for the industry.


Rom Paper ensures a smooth transition to greener practices by carefully managing the project and seeking help from external consultants. The investment in innovative technology not only enhances production capabilities but also contributes to significant reductions in CO2 emissions and energy consumption. By the year-end of 2024, Rom Paper anticipates a substantial decrease in CO2 emissions, from 201,36 tonnes in 2019 to 181,16 tonnes. Simultaneously, energy consumption is projected to decrease from 658,04 megawatt-hour to 592,04 megawatt-hour over the same period. Additionally, the company estimates it will annually collect 200 tonnes of paper waste by the end of 2024 for re-use or recycling. These figures underscore Rom Paper's commitment to measurable environmental improvements and sustainable business practices.
